No Pay, No Play

IHACT enforces a strict no pay – no play policy to ensure all members are treated equally. Any individual player who has not met their financial obligations will be suspended from playing or training until payment has been settled. Any Senior B or Senior C team that has not met their financial obligations will have their games cancelled. In both cases no refunds, discounts or re-scheduling will be offered.

For all enquiries relating to membership, registration and esportsdesk, please contact our Registrar.

Refund Policy

IHACT Membership fees paid by a discontinued member may be refunded on a pro-rata basis to the member upon discontinuance solely at the discretion of the board of the Association.

Refunds for all registrations i.e. team, league, training fees, events etc are assessed on a case-by-case basis and may be granted in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the board of the Association.

Please note, fees must be paid in full before any refunds are granted.

All requests for refunds to be made in writing and lodged with the Secretary IHACT. secretary@ihact.org.au

Family Discount

A family discount on registration costs is available for two or more juniors in the same family. Please note, to be eligible for the discount the user should complete all junior registrations in the one transaction. If this is not possible, please contact the Registrar to have a discount applied.

Two juniors in the same family: $50 discount (total)
Three juniors in the same family: $100 discount (total)

Goalie Discount

A discount will apply to a goal tender with their own gear, who is the primary goal tender for a team. The discount is $150 and this will be returned to the member in May. All goal tenders must register and pay in full before commencing.

Registration

Registration is processed through the eSportsDesk platform at the bottom of this page.

This page contains information on fees. Please read it in full before attempting to register online.

To participate in games or training with Ice Hockey ACT, fees are split into two components:

  1. Memberships and
  2. Registration

Memberships

An Ice Hockey Australia (IHA) and Ice Hockey ACT (IHACT) membership must be purchased and paid for in full before any player, coach, official or volunteer can participate in any IHACT session. Membership covers insurance and administration costs.

The fees for combined IHA/IHACT 2023 membership are below.

Payment

Payment for both registration and membership is done online using eSportDesk via credit card – IHACT is unable to accept cash or direct deposit. Please use the links above for the appropriate league to process your membership and registration. The link to the main esportsdesk portal showing all available registration options can be found here.

Once you have clicked the link, sign in with your esportsdesk account, or click the sign-up tab for first time users (your password will be emailed to you).
Follow the prompts to on-screen, make the payment, and a receipt will be emailed to you when the process is completed.

If you are registering more than one person at a time (for example your two children, or yourself and your child) you can continue to click Register Now at the top of the esportsdesk page after the first item is in your cart. Choose the appropriate registration under the heading Teams & leagues.

Junior members may be required to provide a copy of their birth certificate after registration.

Partial Payments

A partial payment option is available for registrations in local leagues, for an additional fee.
