New to Ice Hockey in the ACT?
All new players to IHACT need to attend either a Grading session for Senior D and Women’s or a Draft session for Senior C and B. These sessions allow our IHACT accredited coaches the opportunity to see and assess your skill level ensuring it is appropriate and safe for the league you wish to join.
If you have played ice hockey in another state or territory in Australia you will need to transfer your registration to the ACT before playing. Contact secretary@ihact.org.au for more information on how to do this.
If you hold citizenship in another country, you will need to get an International Transfer Card before you can play in Australia. This is an International Ice Hockey Federation rule, and it applies even if you’ve never played ice hockey before. Please refer to the IHA International Transfeer page for more information, or contact secretary@ihact.org.au for more information.
