The Constitution is the headline document for all IHACT Governance. It sits above all other Policies, Regulations, Guidelines and advice. If there is a contradiction between the Constitution and any other IHACT Document, the version in the Constitution takes precedence.

Current Constitution
The Constitution was updated at the 2024 AGM to remove a number of inconsistencies in document and clarify some processes. A summary of the changes made and reasons for the changes can be found in the below document. There is also a track changes version of the Constitution showing the amendment of the old version to the new.

Previous Versions of the Constitution
For the record, older versions of the Constitution are maintained by the Association but are not posted here to avoid confusion. If you wish to see a previous version of the Constitution, please contact secretary@ihact.org.au
