Junior Development Academy - 2017/18

Our Junior Development Academy is for non-registered children aged 4-16years that have very little or no skating experience and have never played Ice Hockey before.

The children will learn basic skating skills including: getting up when they fall, how to move on the ice (starting to skate/glide), basic stopping techniques & how to move in the equipment. They will also be introduced to basic game structure, stick and puck skills. All sessions are run by experienced accredited IHACT Junior Coaches.

By the end of the Development Academy all attendees should have enough skill and confidence to join the junior leagues at the start of Winter Season (approx. April 2018)

The Junior Development Academy will run every Sundays 12:15-1:30pm with one block in 2017 and the following in 2018 with all gear provided. Skate hire is additional and paid directly to the rink. Spaces are limited to 40, so be quick to register your child for this popular summer academy
