The ACT Ice Hockey Association, trading as Ice Hockey ACT, invites all members to attend its Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on Wednesday 27th September 2017 at 7:00pm. The meeting will be held at the Woden Tradies, Launceston Street, Phillip. A quorum of 15 registered members is required, and the proposed agenda is attached.
At the AGM, members will hear from the current Board and representatives about the successes and challenges of the 2017 year. The audited financial statements will be presented by the Treasurer, and we will conclude with a general discussion forum. Additionally, in recognition of the completion of our first split-season year, we will also be presenting IHACT's Association Awards to the lucky recipients at this year's AGM.
At the 2017 AGM the following Elected Director Board positions will be up for nomination:,
- President (1 year term)
- Vice President (2 year term)
- Secretary (1 year term)
- Assistant Secretary (2 year term)
- Treasurer (1 year term)
- Junior Delegate (2 year term
If you wish to nominate for one of the above positions, nominations must be made in writing (either in hard copy or by email to email@example.com by COB Tuesday 19 September 2017. Nominations must be approved by two IHACT members (one of which can be the nominee themselves). No supporting statement is required; however, the nominee must be present at the AGM.
